Air Force Cool Program Overview
EvereTech is proud to serve as a PMI® Authorized Training Partner (ATP), delivering high-quality project management education tailored to the unique needs of military personnel. Our Project Management Professional (PMP®) and Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM®) certification training programs are designed to meet the rigorous standards set by the Project Management Institute (PMI®). These programs provide the required 35 Professional Development Units (PDUs) for PMP® and CAPM® exam eligibility, and include access to PMI’s Student Portal with electronic course materials, spotlight videos, knowledge checks, and secure content storage. EvereTech’s training aligns directly with Air Force Credentialing Opportunities On-Line (AF COOL) funding guidelines, ensuring that Airmen can pursue professional certifications with full financial support. Our team provides step-by-step guidance through the AF COOL application process, helping Airmen build educational goals, submit funding requests, and prepare for successful credentialing. Beyond certification, EvereTech is committed to empowering Airmen for transition readiness and career advancement. Our curriculum emphasizes leadership, adaptability, and technical mastery—equipping participants to lead high-performing teams, manage complex projects, and thrive in a dynamic federal environment.
Eligibility Requirements
- PMP®: Requires project management experience + 35 contact hours.
- CAPM®: Entry-level option with 23 hours of training.
- Note: CAPM exam fee refunded if transitioning to PMP later
Step-by-Step AF COOL Funding Process
- Step 1: Determine Eligibility
- Step 2: Build Your Invoice
- Choose Course NO earlier than 60 days and NO later then 30 days from course start date
- Send email to [email protected] to have invoice generated with course dates provided.
- Step 3: CAPM/PMP Application Screenshot
- create a PMI account using a civilian email address
- take screenshot of PMI username and password (Save as PDF) for purchasing agents to approve exam and study materials as well as PMI dashboard with eligibility dates and pay for exam button
- Step 4: Create Educational Goal in AFVEC
- Login to AFVEC
- Create Educational Goal for CAPM
- Select required funding options
- exam fee
- prep course
- (optional) study materials
- upload invoice and PMI application screenshot with PMI credentials
- supervisor must approve goal within 7 days.

- Step 5: Create Funding Request (separate courses for)

Payment Status
- Once approved, the request will move to the base education office and then the Purchasing Agent (PA).
- Monitor AFVEC until the status reflects “PA.”
- Upon payment approval, both AF COOL and EvereTech will notify you.
